In my coming of age Novel, Rumble Fish by S.E Hilton. In the book the main character is James. He ist the smartest person ever. But he Is one of the cool kids. He is in a motorcycle gang. He has one brother that died. He died because he tyred to robbed a pet store and he got shot.
James is a bad kid. Before his brother died, he was in a gang. Now since his bro died he wants a better education. So now he wants to not end up like bro and die at a young age. So he wantes to better himself.
So to me i think it is good to she him try to change. To get a better Education and get smarter. So kids these day can also try to get a better education if they tryed too. So you can do alot of stuff if you really do try.
